Ministries for Women Women’s Ministry opportunities at Central Baptist reach out to women of all ages within our church as well as our community. Through Bible studies, conferences, fellowships and various community mission projects, we seek to grow together in God’s love while loving others. So many people today are hungry and eager for God’s word, and our desire is to reach as many as possible through our various ministries.
We are always prayerful for new and innovative ideas to bring women to Christ, and to constantly support each other, no matter where we each may be in our journey with Christ. Central Baptist offers a number of opportunities for the adult women of our church to gather for prayer, Bible study and special projects. Women on Mission organizations include:
Wylene Frost Bible Study
Meets at 7 p.m. each third Monday in homes.
Facilitator: Gwen Jordan
Bible Study II Meets at 2:30 p.m. each Monday after the first Sunday at church. Facilitators: Bess Speer and Mary Nell Carson
Multi-Focus Mission Group Meets at 2 p.m. each Monday after the first Sunday at church.
Facilitator: Elaine Maxwell
Prayer Group Meets at 1:30 p.m. each Monday at church. Facilitators: Cornelia Greene
PALS (Prayer and Loving Service) Group – Meets at noon each third Tuesday.
Facilitator: Lisa Martin
Jewels Meets at 6 p.m. each first Thursday.

P.A.W.S.
(Praying and Walking Sisters) Meets at 6:30 p.m. each second Monday in homes.
