RENEW CONFERENCE

We are thrilled to announce that our RENEW Conference will kick off on Sunday, August 4th, with sessions at 9:30 am and again at 6:30 pm featuring Pastor Ken Whitten. The following day, Monday, August 5th, Jeff Crook will be taking the pulpit. On August 6th, we will receive a message from Jim Perdue, and on Wednesday, August 7th, Kenny Grant will be returning to speak with us. Below are the details of each pastor who will share the word that God has placed on their hearts. We eagerly anticipate your participation.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Ken Whitten

Ken Whitten – Retired as pastor of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida after serving 33 years. He is now national director of pastoral leadership at the North American Mission Board (NAMB).  In an interview, Whitten described his vision for his role as being a “minister of encouragement” to pastors across the Southern Baptist Convention.

Jeff Crook

Jeff Crook - Jeff Crook is the Lead Pastor of Christ Place Church in Flowery Branch, Georgia. He has been in this role since November 2003. Jeff is passionate about developing young preachers and raising up men to be disciple-makers in various spheres of life, including their homes, workplaces, and communities

Jim Perdue - Jim serves as the Senior Pastor of Second Baptist Church, Warner Robins, GA since 2012. He loves to preach, watch football, hang out with his family, and lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus. His passion is to lead the church to impact our neighbors and the nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

kenny grant

Kenny Grant - is the Teaching Pastor at Community Church in Saint Simons Island. Although he was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, he has served as a pastor for churches in both Brunswick and Savannah for many years. With a unique style of teaching and preaching, Kenny brings his background as a former Marine Drill Instructor to his ministry.  Additionally, he founded Kenny Grant Ministries and has been actively involved in leadership and teaching roles within the church community
